Puna, Hawaii

Time flies....

We've been on a mission to find the best artisan pizza in the city. We've decided that Pizziaolo in Oaktown is the best, followed by Picco in Larkspur, then Goat Hill Pizza on Pot Hill, SF (they're the only ones who do a true sourdough crust), then tied for 4th & 5th would be Piccino in SF and Pizzetta 211 in SF-very similar crust, kinda cracker like. Oh, and Range in the mission district has some FAB cocktails and top notch food!

Phew, me so tired.

Two nights in a row I've partied in the City late night. Last night to Mighty to see a Dutch funk band, called Kraak & Smaak. They rocked. The night before at the Fillmore to see T.V on the Radio. They were different. Entertaining, but I wouldn't go out and buy all their records. Oh, and for the record, the bartenders at the Fillmore are very speedy and make a strong drink. Impressive for a large nightclub. I was also pleasantly surprised by the bar staff at Mighty. They had their shit together too. But, since I'm partly blogging on behalf of the cocktail, I will tell you now that the best place to get a superior drink in S.F. is at Absinthe (http://www.absinthe.com). Check it out party people!

San Blas Islands

Panama Chillin'

What's in a Name?

I'm new to this blogging thing, had no intention of having a blog, but apparently, if I wanted to comment on other blogs, I had to create my own. WTF???? So, "cocktail22" was all that was left available in this new blogworld. But, seriously, I like a well-crafted (not crafted with "well" liquor, rather "made well/good/with care & skill"-got it??) cocktail, and sometimes I'll drink 22 of them. Just kidding. 22 was my number in all of my high school sports. There you have it!
So, what's to follow in this new blog will be travel stories, both locally in the bay area, and abroad, as well (there's that word again) as tips and advice on where to get a fabulous cocktail in the bay area.
Cheers for now!
